How this list is built: the checker searches the same open-settlement dataset as the main tracker, limited to settlements whose names identify them as data breach cases, and it refreshes with the dataset. A matching company name means an open settlement exists. It does not confirm that any one person's records were included in a breach; only the settlement's eligibility rules, or a notice from the settlement administrator, can show that. Filing always happens on the official settlement website linked from each result.
